Question Sunbeam 2591mixmaster disassembly

Does anyone here know how to take one of these apart? There are zero screws visible, not even under the label, and attempting to pry the front cover off hasn't worked and I don't want to break it. (The motor has quit.)<br />

PS This is a Mixmaster stand mixer.

If it doesn't run any more then it is already broken. What have you got to lose if you break it even more?

It is quite likely that being a lower-cost mixer it isn't made to be repaired. Just use it until it fails and then buy another. I don't like that attitude but it does seem the way things are these days.

Welcome to the forums.

Moved to the small appliance forum.

Most su8nbeam mixers come apart from the front and the speed know. Usually there are snap on plastic covers that hide the screws you are looking for. This video is pretty helpful and similar to what you are working on.

Thanks, Pete. But this mixer looks to be designed not to be repaired. That one looks a lot more repair friendly.
