Ge microwave burned terminals

I have 2 year old GE microwave , it was emitting an odor. Took off the cover and found a connector on one side of a thermostat badly burned. Theres a second thermostat it also had a slightly blackened connector. It was rumning fine but both wires connected attached to those terminals were very hot.

i can simply replace the connectors if it just a two loose connections... but its likely a bigger issue right?

could be loose connections inside the thermostats as well as the connectors themselves.
