Saeco / Phillips coffee maker Gran Baristo

Hello-

I figured I'd take a stab at this here since I can't find anything on-line.

My wife has the HD8966 Saeco Gran Baristo coffee maker, and it's stuck in a perpetual rinse cycle. I was wondering if anyone knew how to cancel the rinse cycle in the middle?

Thanks,
ualdriver

Is this the start up/rinse cycle or a manually started rinse cycle ?

The start up rinse (rinse is on display) can be cancelled by pressing the counterclockwise arrow button.

It was a manually started rinse/cleaning cycle.

As far as I can tell..... a manually started rinse is strictly a timer controlled event with no interrupt.

Thanks PJ. I think you're right. I can find any way to break that cycle.
