How to Open Hoover Floormate Steamscrub Touch

The cord on my Hoover steamscrub floor cleaner is broken and I am trying to open the unit to repair it. I have managed to get the back panel off but to access the strain relief for the cord I need to separate the front panel from the main body of the unit. I have removed all visible screws but the two pieces of the chassis are still held together somehow and I can't figure out how to release them. See attached image. Please let me know if you have managed to get into one of these! Thanks.

Sure there isn't a screw way down in a hole somewhere, that you need a 6" extension for?

Is this it? https://www.ereplacementparts.com/ho...405_37413.html

6 screws? Cord wrap and screws?

I am not seeing any screws although I am suspicious that one resides under the front panel with the indicator lights on it that I have been unable to dislodge (see broken trim in photo below). Any ideas on how to get under it? This unit is much simpler than the one at your link, just a steamer with no moving parts. Thanks!

Post the model number of your unit.

In the center picture I see a screw in the one hole.
Is that loose but won't come out ?

Very keen eye, that screw is loose, it's just dangling in the hole. I can separate the pieces at the ends, just not the middle. Model is WH20420CA
