Hood exhaust fan not working
My kitchen hood fan - TECNIK mdo. TKE 591 stops working but still can hear the noise when turning it on, also the light still working. there is grease on the cover so I try to clean it. Is there something I can do to fix it?
Thank you.

I am not sure if this will help but perhaps it will.
Very hard to find info on these hoods.
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/65...?page=8#manual
The metal mesh filters I usually brush off the dust/crud with a brush (be gentle) and then clean them in the dishwasher.
The carbon filter has to be replaced.
Note that your problem may have nothing to do with the filters.
So remove them and see if it works.
If it does then do the above.
If it does not then you will have to delve further into the hood.

Welcome to the forums from the UK.
That's not a model sold here in North America which limits our access to service information.
I'm puzzled. If it's not working..... what noise are you hearing ?
I would suggest taking it apart and make a visual inspection of the blower.

You say it is not working but hear "the noise" when you turn it on. Try removing the grease filter screen and see if it works. You can use a cigarette or blow out a candle underneath the intake to see if it is sucking in air.

Thank you all, the noise I hear is sound like the fan moving.
And I have removed and clean grease on the filter but still not working, just only the fan itself that not been clean yet

Again only have limited info on these units.
But it looks like there are two sets of filters in the unit.
The metal grease filters on the bottom of the housing.
And a carbon filter attached to the motor.
You should be able to see if the fan is running but may need a flashlight and a mirror.

If you can hear the motor running then it might simply be clogged filters, especially if the problem got gradually worse over time.
