Unhappy Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max Not Working

Greetings Group!!

I bought a 2596Y CrossWave Cordless Max on 05/25/20 and it worked well until about a month ago. It was unused since then. A few days ago I tried to use it and when I pressed the power button there was an audible beep, a pause and 4 more beeps. The two right battery indicator lights were flashing and nothing else happened.

It has remained in the charging stand (plugged in) when not in use. Total use is about 5 hours.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply Pete.

That's probably it, Internal Error, except that it's the two right leds that are lit. I've been all up and down Bissell's help to no avail.

They have actually sent me a replacement unit and asked me to dispose of the defective one. But if I can fix it on the cheap so much the better. I hate to throw something out that expensive if it can be saved.

I don't think it's the side. Just the fact that there are two lit.
