Microwave fuse blowing

Moderator's note: separated from the following thread: GE Over the Range Microwave 20 Amp fuse keeps blowing up

Hello all; I have GE microwave #JVM1540LN1CS; My inline 20A fuse keeps blowing with the door close pretty much as soon as I start the microwave; I did test for continuity on the 3 door switches; I have continuity on the top and bottom switch but not on the middle one with the microwave door closed. I just want to confirm there should continuity on the middle switch with the door closed. Can anyone please confirm that for me? Thanks.

There are two operation switches and one safety switch. I don't have the manual so I can't tell you which switch is the safety switch but it needs to open when the door is closed and short when the door is open.

I have a GE Profile microwave (PEB2060SM1SS) that is blowing the internal fuse. The fuse blows as soon as you hit the start button with the door closed. This unit has a large button on the front to press to open the door - there is no handle to pull open the door.

Should i be looking at door switches or is there another troubleshooting route i should go down?

Thanks
