I've come into possession of this vacuum which had the handle disassembled ahead of time and I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing a piece, because I can't seem to keep the switch pressed against the underside of the handle. I've got the two pieces of the handle, the switch itself and it's housing, the switch slide (the part the you actually touch), and then an 'H' shaped piece of plastic.
I've looked everywhere I could find online for some sort of diagram or pictures but I can't seem to find anything so hoping there's someone here with some experience with this. Thanks.
There is no model number shown anywhere, only a serial number sticker on the back and the "Discovery II" just as shown in your picture. Yours appears to be exactly the same as mine, at least from what I can tell. I have come to realize that the handle I bought was for the rocker switch model instead of the sliding switch, but I haven't been able to find any way to purchase the correct handgrip in any way.
Not sure if this was the best place to put this thread. Mods, feel free to move.
I'm considering a chairlift to go 12 steps straight up from front hall entrance.
Has anybody had any expeience with chairlifts or might make any suggestions.
This is totally is new to me and I have no idea what to expect.
Is it unreasonable to try and find a used or reburbished unit?
One of my concerns is try and keep it as compact as possible.
Are they easy to remove if need be?
Will the stairway wall need to be broken into or is the track attached to the stairs?
Will they require a seperate circuit? Hardwired or will a typical outlet suffice?
And are they battery back-up?
HI, It stopped working after about 4 years of service. The digital readouts in the front are dead and the compressor is not working. (warm wine...ugh).
I did verify that it is getting power. Any ideas on what I should try next?
Thanks
Bill
