Where to get a repair manual for Hauslane 30" range hood?
Hello,
The partial outage fried the circuit power board of the range hood (PS18SS). I contacted Hauslane customer service and they agreed to sell me the part. However, the pics that I took as I disassemblied the machine are not clear enough that it would be difficult for me to put them together. If I have a diagram of the parts, it should be much easier. I googled around and still unable to find the manual or the directions that help me assembly the machine. Even your diagram comes from a diff. make, the structure should be similar and close to mine, as long as it is a under cabinet range hood.
Thanks in advance
John

Thanks guys for the quick reply. But I already have a copy of user's manual. PJmax was right that it's hard to find the service manual on the web. I was expecting a part diagram where there is a number for each and every part so I can see how they are arranged.
No worries. I don't think it's too difficult to put them back together.
Thanks again.
Owned this Cuisinart TOA-60 airfryer/toaster oven about a year, and recently noted the plug looked like it was shifting sideways in the outlet. Removed from outlet to see shifting of the prongs in the plug. Evidently the plug is melting during use and the prongs are moving around in the plastic and then it cools back down when the appliance turns off. I noticed today after using the toast option that the wire from the appliance is warm, and the plug is hot. The technical information says 120VAC 80Hz 1800WATT. Other appliances that heat (our coffeemaker and water kettle) all have three prong plugs with sturdier wires; I wonder if this appliance was assembled with a wire/plug assembly that is unable to handle the load. Also, our kitchen had electrical strips installed with the initial kitchen wiring, they have their own breakers.
My question is can I replace the wiring/plug, or do I have to replace the whole appliance?
The belt broke on mine, model 25982. The manual shows the replacement process, but not the size or part numbers. The local hardware store's website shows a 2-pack for Bissell upright vacuums, I wonder if the belts are the same size?
