Stove throwing codes
I owned an Amana glass top stove. I recently put it to the trash because abought a month ago only one of the five burners worked. I dealt with that until about three days ago the stove totally shut down and displayed this code:F9E0. I bought a new GE glass top yesterday. After installing the three-prong cord and plugging it in, I turned on the stove and oven and nothing worked. There was power being supplied because the power indicator lit up. The burners would not ignite and the oven did not work either. This stove also displayed a code:H06 Ld6. If anyone has an idea of the possible cause please help. Thanks

Without model numbers we'd be guessing.
Are these 240v appliances ?
The old one may have run off 240v.
The new one should be 120/240v requiring four wires.
You may have just one leg of the 240v power. The electronics would still run as what is supposed to be ground is being as a neutral. Each appliance comes with specific installation manual that should be followed.
Check for 240vac.
