Microwave Powers Up, Timer Counts Down, Just No Heating, Carousel Turning

Samsung model info imaged. I think we bought it within 2 years, but likely more than a year old.
That it powers up, oven light is on, and timer counts down with start button press should be a clue.

UPDATE: did chat with human agent at Samsung. Suspected this is a "sensor" issue. She felt that if I tried to get it professionally repaired, cost would exceed a new replacement. Said that a new 1.7 cu ft 1000 W oven would be $230 and this seems likely. We are less than a month away from selling the house, and we can't sell one with a broken microwave. If I can do a repair for little time and little to no cost, I will try. Otherwise, the agent said to contact her for a discounted replacement.

It's a Door Sensor

We found that holding the door in a certain way causes the oven to work. But it's not consistent. Have to pull the oven off the range and figure out what's going on with the door sensor. I suppose there's a YouTube video for it.

UPDATE: So we pulled the assembly of door switches, tested continuity with a meter, and actually found a switch that had no continuity. Even using tools to scrape the contacts and recondition them, the continuity could not be established. Part ordered from Amazon. Will learn Tuesday.

I've been trying to find the service manual.

Not all the switches are closed. Some close when button is held in.

I will close out this thread as solved. Of the three door switch, it was the bottom door switch. We did the work of testing continuity on the switch (the button holds it closed), and got nonzero ohmmeter reading (no connection). We even took the switch apart, and tried cleaning the contact surfaces. It had a zero reading (connection), but it was spotty.

The switch is about $5.75 on Amazon, took a couple of days for delivery. The oven is now working. I thought it odd the switch lost function within a couple of years of purchase of the new oven.

Good job. ..........Those switches are crap and wear out easily.

At one time they used to be actually gold plated contacts.
You can still buy them but they are not as easy to find and are quite a bit more expensive.
