I bought a tanning bed and need to know how to install the 620R plug that is required.

asine,

the number you are using is a NEMA number which only specifies what kind of receptacle it is so it will match the cord cap. It is 20 amp, but also a twist-lock type.
Whether it is 220 or 110v I don't know as I don't have a NEMA chart handy.
Nonetheless, whatever it actually is, the wiring is no different than any other type of receptacle. Just make sure your voltages match.

David is correct. I looked in the manual and it is a 20 amp/220 v plug. I assumed that the tanning bed has a 6-20P cord, therefore you need a 6-20R which is a 220v/20a circuit.

It is a 220V straight prong 20A, not twist-lock (which would be 6-20L)
