You can put 8 #12 thhn conductors in a 1/2" pvc and 11 #14 thhn in a 1/2" pvc. This comes from Table C10 of the NEC

Sparkone42, you really meant to use the word "or" instead of "and" in your statement didn't you using either 8 - 12 or 11 -14 awg conductors but not both at the same time?

I also suspect that you meant using THWN OR THHN and nor RHW or other fat insulated conductors.

Not trying to be picky just trying to aviod a misunderstanding while someone reads your reply and tries to stuff 19 conductors in a 1/2 PVC coduit.

Boy would that be fun !

Just remember - that's how many conductors you can fit in the conduit.

There are other codes that say you have to DERATE the ampacity of the conductors depending upon HOW MANY you actually put into the conduit.

Please post back if you need more info.
