Unhappy need help - fast

I've disconnected my ceiling light and don't know how to rewire - too many wires, too many option. Here is what I have:

The following wires are hanging from the ceiling:

1 Red wire
2 White wires (coming from different sides)
2 Black wires (coming from different sides, these are connected, and they were connected)
2 grounding (connected)
1 Extra wire, short white wire with one side with a black tape

In the switchbox (have not touched this, so this should be good)
3 Black Wires connected together, 2 come from different sides, 1 is connecting it to the switch
1 Red wire in the switch
2 white wires connected together
2 grounding (connected, one of them connected to the switch)

Also important: there are 2 other lights in the same room and even though I've switched the master switch back on, these do not work.

Any idea how to connect the wires?

Thanks!!!

Try connecting all red and black wires to the black wire of the light fixture.

Connect all whites tegether with the white wire of the light fixture, except the one white wire with black tape.

Leave the white wire with the black tape on it taped off and not connected to anything. This white wire with a black tape is a wild card we don't yet know its intent.

Let us know what happens when you turn you power and switch back on.

Good Luck
