Range Problems

I recently wired my small cabin and am having troubles with the range. I ran 6-3 on a 50 Amp breaker and have 120 V. on each leg. The range will only heat up the broil coil on the top or the oven. The clock also works but nothing else will.
When I test for current the red leg draws 6 amps and the black draws nothing.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

i would double check and make sure you have 120 between your hots and nuetral and make sure the connections are tight in the plug and where the cord connects to the range.

And check that you have 240v between the black and red. Perhaps you don't have 240v service, or perhaps both legs are on the same phase. Do you have any other 240v appliances in this cabin?

The only other 240 V appliance is the water heater which has not been filled and turned on yet.
