WANTING TO RUN 100AMP SERVICE FROM HOUSE TO GARAGE UNDERGROUND EITHER COPPER OR ALUMINUM ,HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS (WHERE TO HOOK UP IN THE HOUSE BOX)

How far is the garage? There are a couple of options. I like aluminum if there is some distance involved and the cost adds up. I often use a 100 A wire and a 60 or 70 amp breaker which is cheap. Number 2 aluminum is ok as well as no. 3 or 4 copper. Run 4 wires and the ground could be a size smaller.
