Question

One story home. In one side of the house the electrical outlet do not work. We have checked the fans, as sometimes the wires are connected to them and wiggle loose. Exterior outlets also, not working. Any tips?!?

OR all these outlets on one breaker or are they on seperate breakers ? if all on one then look for a GFI some wher in the circuit .ALSO GO TO THE BREAKER PANEL AND TURN THE BREAKER OFF AND THEN BACK ON SOMETIMES A BREAKER WILL TRIP AND NOT REALLY LOOK LIKE IT IS.sorry for the caps. Now another thing is you could have lost the main leg for that side of panel coming to house or you could have lost the neutral ,if you have atester check voltge in side of house that works and see what you read should be 115 to 130 volts then check other side that isn't working and see if you have any voltage at all

If you can determine that the failures are on exactly half the circuits (e.g. 1,2,5,6,9,10) and if your 220 volt appliances are working but not very well, then you've lost one side of your power. I'd call the power company since there is a good chance it is their fault.
