Sorry, I forgot to mention that the stove is fueled by bottled propane gas. The only electric is the light bulb in the oven and the igniter switch. It is only 110 volts. I don't know if that makes a difference?

Yes, that does make a difference. I'd still want it on a separate circuit, but it's not that big a deal if it's only a light and ignitors. It still sounds like there is some sort of split circuit, or screwy ground loop causing your random power, and the stove timer being involved makes it seem like a good idea to isolate it to a new circuit of its own.

hello Piccolo,
i regreat to inform u that your orgional posting was deleated by a diy quark. some times a post will get deleated whin a persion responds to your post leaving only a date and time stamp. if u repost your orgional post im sure some 1 will be abel to help u. i also recomend u post it in appliances section as well they r more versed in appliance trouble, and mabe they can tell u the exact cause of your problem. sorry for any inconvence this may have caused you.

I think the problem is in the wiring not the appliance. I am going to take Ranck's advice and check the wiring in the garage since everything worked before my husband decided to tighten all the wires. If that doesn't work, I'll be back. Thanks again for your helo.
