Bathroom Outlets

Yesterday, while trying to use her curling iron, my wife discovered that both outlets in our master bathroom weren't working. I reset the circuit breaker but they still didn't work. Neither outlet has it's own built in reset switch and all of the lights and fan in there are still okay. I'm clueless when it comes to electronics and would appreciate any ideas!

Thanks!

This receptacle is required to be protected by a GFI. Look in the garage, outside, the other bathroom places like this where there could be a GFI receptacle. I would look in the garage and another bathroom, if you have one. One of those places will have a gfi receptacle that probably needs to be reset.
You said that you reset the circuit breaker, did this breaker have a test button on it in addition to the breaker handle. If it did, then that is the the GFI protection and you will have to look for other causes. If it did not have the test button then somewhere in your house you will find a GFI receptacle that needs to be reset.

Unbelievable!

I found an outlet that had been tripped in the garage of all places. Everything's working now. Thanks for the help!

The idea of putting the gfi in the garage came along about eight years ago. The impetus for it was to make it easier to find. Usually, this receptacle is located right next to the panel.
