I bought a ceiling fixture whose instructions say there is a risk of fire if I use it with wire rated less than 85 deg C. It also states that most houses built before 1985 have supply wire rated 60 deg C. My house was built in 1965, so I assume it has 60 deg C wire. Is it dangerous to install this fixture? Do I need to do anything special to install it? Thanks.
