Question Trouble shooting track lighting

OK I'm trouble shooting a track lighting system from Tech Lighting with a bendable track and an outside magnetic transformer. The breaker on the transformer keeps flipping when I turn on the switch. I unhooked the lights, but the breaker still flipped. When I took out the bendable track, the breaker stopped flipping when the switch was turned on. Does this mean that the problem occurs when the track is hooked up or is it in the wiring?

I used the wires from a nearby recessed light to hook up the transformer.

My guess would be a short between the two sides of the circuit in the track. If you have an ohm meter, remove all lights and power connections and meter between the two sides in continuity mode if you have one. Should get no response between the sides. Or you can use the ohms function; should read "0" ohms. If you get a reading it's shorted.
