Floor Lamp

I have one of those 3 peice floor lamps that I bought at the local Wallmart, It's a great lamp but my dog ate threw the cord. So I went to Lowe's and bought a new cord, I have a major problem I can't get the cord thru the sections of the lamp any suggestions? I'd really appreciate any or all help.

Does the wire fit or are you having problems fishing it through?

Ideally you should have used the original wire to pull the replacement through. But I'm guessing it's been pulled out already. You may want to try using some string, a small fishing sinker that fits through the hole and lots of patience. Or you can use a "wet noodle" - basically a very long pullchain.

Have you looked into unscrewing the pole? I think the one you're refering to separates into 3 pieces. That might help as well.
