Mounting recepticals??

I have most of my wiring complete on my main floor (thanks to this forum) It shows grounded with my tester and everything is good. I am now mounting my plugins back into the wall, and screwing them down tight, but they are sunk in the wall to much. Can I put some sort of washers or something to bring it out of the wall more? They are in there so far, that I can just barley get the plate screwed on.

Thanks

There are devices to compensate for this, you can get them at any electrical supplier.
I personally use old insulated pieces of wire I wrap around the blade of a screwdriver and cut to the depth I need, then screw the receptacle to the box through the wrapped wire. usually when doing the wiring there is always a couple of inches of black wire kicking around to do this.
