Question Wiring Whirlpool Tub

From the instructions for my whirlpool tub:

"The whirlpool should be installed on a 120 vac, 15 amp dedicated circuit. The circuit should be hard-wired from the electrical power supply panel. The circuit must be a three-wire circuit from the electrical supply panel. A grounded neutral wire and a third wire, earth ground, are essential."

Can you help me understand what this means? I understand the dedicated circuit part, but grounded neutral wire and earth ground have me a little confused.

Thanks again...

Nothing special here. All neutral wires are grounded. So the reference to a "grounded neutral" just means the white wire. The earth ground is simply the bare grounding wire.

This is just an ordinary 15-amp circuit like all the other 15-amp circuits in your house, only this one has nothing on it except the whirlpool.

Be sure this 15 amp 120 volt branch circuit serving a whirlpool tub is GFI protected.
