Question Light On Photocell Switch goes on and off

Hi, I had to replace the light fixture on an outdoor light with a photo cell switch so that the light comes on automatically at dusk. I made a note of the way it was wired before
starting.

The photo cell switch has three wires, white, black and red.

I have all the white common wires from the power line in, the light, and the photo cell switch connected together.

I have the black "hot" line from the power line in and the red wire to the photo cell switch connected together.

I have the remaining black wires from the photocell switch and the
light fixture connected together.

The light comes on and off on its own every 30 seconds or so.

It worked fine before I replaced the light fixture.

Any idea what I did wrong??

Thanks Pterodactyl

The White fixture lead and the White P-C lead should connect to the White wire in the outlet box and the Black fixture lead should connect to the Red lead from the P-C. The Black P-C lead connects to the Black wire in the outlet box.---Good Luck!!!
