Question Outlets not working

Our bathroom electical outlets suddenly stopped working and I'm frustrated because we can't plug anything in. The lights still work. We checked the electrical box and no switches were off. We don't want to call an electrician, is this something we can fix ourselves? Thanks, Lenore

This problem is reported here almost every day. You have a tripped GFCI. Look for receptacles with "T" and "R" buttons on them and push the "R" (or "RESET") buttons. The receptacle you need to reset can be almost anywhere. First look in all your bathrooms. Then look in the garage. Look especially hard along every wall of the garage, since the garage is a very, very common place for the GFCI. Then look in the basement, the front porch, the back porch. If you still haven't found it, post back for some more suggestions. But go look in the garage one more time before you do.
