Breaker panel

Installing subpanel (temp.) for awhile.Black red and white,do i connect black and red to main lugs or just black to 1 lug. thx.

Depending on the type of sub panel, generally black and red go to the hot lugs (incomming power), the white is to the neutral, and green or bare to ground. In many sub panel installations within the home, the neutral and ground would be kept electrically seperate (different terminals where the neutral is electrically isolated from the enclosure)..
