next step after loss of power

Hello,

My friend in Paris just lost power in her kitchen in her apartment.

she tried the circut breaker box and there is still no power to the kitchen.... every where else there is power.

I would be very gratefull for the next step.

Thanks...

Sounds like a great opportunity for a vacation.
If that will not happen, then have her find the fuse or circuit breaker box and look for an open circuit. Post back and tell us what type of panel it is?
Since it is France, I'm not sure if GFCI receptacles are installed, but those also might be the culprit when tripped open.

Unless it's Paris Ontario (even if it is) , you won't find GFCI
recepticles serving it Kitchen. In most of Europe, whole home
GFCIs called RCDs are used.

I'd get her to call an electrician.
