3 way switches

I am electrically illiterate! Help!! I am trying to install a light to my car port. The car port is approximately 30 yards from my power source (main breaker box). I have installed an outdoor power plug and coming from the other side of the plug I am trying to connect to a 3 way switch (by my front entry) then I am going to the car port to a second 3 way switch then to my light fixture. I am using 12/2 wire. These are the only items on this circuit. Please help with the wiring of the switches and the light fixture!

You neen a 12/3 to go between each 3-way switch, Power to the one switch, light to the other.

In all the boxes, connect grounds and whites.
In each switch box, connect the black on the
2 wire cable to the common on the switch, and the red/black
in the 3 wore to the traveller terminals on the switch.
