Replacing Light Fixtures
Got motivated to do it myself and change a light fixture...fine print on the box sez "Warning: Risk of Fire. Most Dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated 60 (degree) C. Consult a qualified Electrician before installing. For Supply Connections use wire suitable for at least 75 (degree) C."
Of course, my house was built in 1950's....how do I tell what these "Supply Wire Ratings" Are? Would prefer to NOT call an electrician....know I can do this myself - but, would rather not burn my house down!!
