I would suggest a water proof material is the shower stall full sized to ensure the water won't get on the inner wall?

There are no special consideration because of the wires. Bathroom walls are best covered with moisture-resistant drywall (aka greenboard), and painted with two coats of semigloss enamel. If the wall will actually get wet, use roofing felt, cement board and tile.

yes its a 5' bath/shower combo 1 piece no seams

from top of shower to ceiling
