There are at least a dozen ways, depending on the situation. Post more details of your project and we can offer individualized advice. Or if you prefer, there are a number of web sites you can browse that give you the overview. Let us know if you'd rather go that way.

Stop by the Library or book store and pick up Black and Deckers guide to home wiring... it has great diagrams of just about anyway to wire a 3-way......

that book Rocks!

p.s. What the others are asking for is more details meaning... where does the power come from? does it go to the fixture first? to on of the switchs first? what is wired now??, etc. etc.
