Moving an Oven outlet..

Hi folks,
I'm moving an oven outlet 3 feet.
I using a junction box (which will be accessable), and have been told by two different camps to use either;
1. Wirenuts.
2. Split bolts.
It's 6/3 cable, and there are wirenuts for this gauge cable.
I'm not too comfortable using splitbolt and wrapping them in tape which could unravel over the years. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Use the good tape, not that cheap plastic tape.

Small Sub Panel

I want to put a small 4 circuit subpanel in my camper. It's fed with a 20 amp service. My question is, if i have the second, third and fourth breakers for different things, can I use the first one as a main by putting the supply voltage on the load side of the breaker? An naturall when I flip the breaker on it will feed the other ones. If it will work like that, will it still trip if there is an overload? Thanks for your help. JoeRead More
