Unhappy Outlets no power

I recently had to have repairs on gas furnace (ignition module??). The repairman said I didn't have to be home when part came in for him to repair. The heat works great but outlets in two bathrooms and garage have no power, which I discovered when the water begin to leak from freezer. Company said repairman turn off power from main switch at heat unit and this shouldn't have damaged anything. Salesman at local store said breaker should appear half off (all looked the same). I turn them all on and off still no power. Is this a job for a professional or is it possible for me to fix?
