Central Exhaust timer wiring

Hi,

I'm wiring a bathroom in my basement. How do I wire a timer to my central exhaust fan? I have two bathrooms upstairs that are have timers wired to the fan, but I can't figure out how to add a third. There are soooo many wires in the box already. HELP please.

Isolate the fan control-circuit from the fan power-circuit by using a fan-control relay.Honeywell has a fan-control relay with a 24 volt control-power transformer and "isolated" 120 volt contacts.Any number of mechanicaly-wound timers can be connected in parallel in the control circuit. But this essentaily is "guessing". Best if you provide more specific information on the existing timers and the ventilating system which uses a "central" fan.

flickering lights

Hi, I was doing some repair work in my garage. I just purchased a Craftsman Router. I had the tv on and cable box and the overhead light. I plugged the router in and made my cut. While I was doing the cut, I thought the light had flickered. My daughter was in the room with me and she said she did not notice. I finished with the router and then the light flickered again and the power went out. No tv, cable box or light. I went to the breakers and the circut for that room did NOT trip. I reset the circut anyway and everything came back on in the room. Seconds later the light flickered again and power was out again. The breaker did not TRIP. What could the problem be? It is a 15amp breaker. Is the router too powerful? Why didn't the breaker just trip? Please help!! Thanks, StaceyRead More

Hello, I am finfishing my basement with my friend. He is about to do the electric work. Adding 6 outlets, celing fan, 1 regular light. My question is this: What ccauses electrical fires? Old wiring? Too much on a circuit breaker? The only thing I truly fear in life is fire in my home.
