laying a low voltage cable under a sidewalk

Help!!!! I need to lay a cable for my low voltage lights under a sidewalk. The GFCI is on one side of the walk and is lit but now we want to light the other side. I know there must be a trick! My electrician ran a line under our sidewalk in the front but we didnt see how he did it!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are a number of tricks. What is best sometimes depends on your soil type. Some people can get away with driving conduit through with a sledge hammer. Others find that water pressure works best -- attach a hose to a pipe, turn it on and push it under the walk.
