Intermantic wall switch ( timer) - How to install????

I've been looking at the Intermantic wall timer switch to be installed for front porch lights. Currently I have a single pole switch ( two black wires going to gold terminals, I have a older house so it looks like two black wires to me) .

The question I have is how to install the new switch ??

The wall switch has a black wire, blue wire and red>>> Which one goes where???

Thanks
mrbello

If you only have 2 wires and the time requires a neutral you can't use it. You don't have a neutral.

Joe's answer was based on the assumption that the two black wires you mentioned are the only two wires in the box. You might want to turn off the breaker, pull the old switch out of the box, and make sure there aren't any other wires tucked into the back of the box. If there are wires in the box that are not connected to the switch, post back and we may be able to help.
