hardwire a dishwasher

I am trying to hardwire a dishwasher. I have run the wire to the service panel. I think the black wire goes into the breaker (20amp), but I am not sure where the neutral and ground wire go. Can someone help?

It seems that you are asking about how to wire this at the panel, so I'll assume that you've already completed the wiring at the dishwasher. True?

The simplest answer is to run the white wire to where most of the other white wires go (ignoring any white wires that attach to a breaker). And run the bare wire to where all the other bare wires go. If there is some reason why these instructions are insufficient, post back.

I hope you ran 12-gauge copper, and I hope you installed a new breaker of the same type as all the other breakers in your panel. Be aware that even with the main breaker off, there is still deadly power exposed when you remove the panel cover.
