Line to Front Door Light Gone Dead

Hi, I have at my front door entrance a triple light switch setup, One for my front door outside light, one for my top landing light and one for my downstairs landing light. All of a sudden the outside front door light stopped working, the other two still work fine. So i replaced the light switch for the front door light but still no go. I removed the outdoor light from the wiring coming from inside and used a tester on the exposed wires and there is no power coming through. Is it possible this wire is dead?. My house is about 25 yrs old and has aluminum wiring also.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(1) Connections to switch could have come loose. Solution: Check conections and move backstabbed connections to adjacent screws.

(2) Switch could have died. Solution: Replace switch.

(3) Light might be on an electric eye in addition to the switch. Possibly the electric eye needs replacing.

(4) Bulb could be out or fixture could be bad. This is only a realistic possibility if your test procedure was faulty.

(5) Tripped GFCI. This seems unlikely as porch lights are not usually put on GFCIs.

I assume you replaced the switch and then checked with a tester between the black & white wires at the fixture itself. Did you check between black & ground (bare)? You may have a loose neutral (white) in your switch box. Check to make sure the white wire coming out of the same cable as the black attached to your switch is solidly connected to the other neutral(s) in the box.
