2 More Rough Inspection Questions
Hi all,
My rough inspection is Friday and I have 2 more questions:
1) I have 12 recessed lights paired up on 6 switches. On each pair, there is a "remodel" type light (due to space constraints) then a "regular" recessed can. The remodel type light can't be installed until the drywall is up. However, since all 6 are in the middle of the circuit, the grounds need to pass through. Will the inspector let the fact that these grounds aren't connected slide, or should I temporarily suspend the lights and run the grounds through?
2) I'm installing a 3-gang box where an existing 2-gang box is. In this existing 2-gang box is 2 switches for some outside lights. The 3rd, new switch will be fed off the new panel for some interior lights. When hooking up the grounds here, do I put all three together or keep the new one separate from the old?
Thanks,
Jim

I just realized today, too, that I used 14/3 wire for a 3-way switch on a 20-amp circuit, so I guess I'll have to re-do that with some 12/3. Otherwise I think I'm ready.
Thanks,
Jim
