Stacked Dryer Repair

I have a stacking Frigidare washer/dryer. Lately the dryer has a funny smell, there is condensation and is taking forever to dry. Is it the element going out or could the vent be blocked? I have cleaned the vent outside of the house, but no improvement. If I need to get to the back of the dryer is there some trick for getting the thing to move? It is right next to the sink cabinet on one side and the wall on the other. Thks

Throw a few dry towels in the dryer and turn it on. With the dryer running, go outside to where the vent exhausts. Is there a strong stream of air coming out? If not, clean the vent all the way end to end. There are a number of different ways to do it.

If there is a strong stream of air, but it is not warm, then your element probably needs replacing.

The washer/dryer isn't glued to the floor nor attached to the wall. To get it out, just pull. It will probably move better if you pull from the bottom.
