Basic questions-old house

Hi,
Someday I'd like to update the wiring in this 1959, 1416sf, red brick house. What would be the approximate cost? Also, what is the technique to rerun wires down through this type of construction? I've been up in the attic and it looks like some things have been redone, but its spagetthi to me--IMO, not very well done. Thanks.

Hope this helps.

Would have to see the job to really give a good estimate. All complete re-wires are full of variables. But, they can cost anywhere from $45 per opening to $200 per opening.

Bid

I'll quote $30 sq.ft. sight unseen !!!

There is really no way to bid it w/out padding the bid like that. As marcerrin said, there are way too many variables.
You should not have a problem getting a legit electrical contractor in your area to give an estimate on the job. Most are free. If you decide to tackle it yourself, post back with more specific questions and I'm positive that we can help.

Good luck!
