kitchen wiring outlets by range

re-wiring kitchen. I know that the outlets need to be within 4 ft of each other along the kitchen counter and within 2 ft of the end of the counter.

Where we install the Range can I start over and have an outlet 2ft from the Range on both sides? The Range will be 30 inches wide which would make these two outlets more then 4ft apart. Is this OK by code?

Thanks,

Harlan

Yes, it's all okay. The range is not part of the counter. One counter ends on one side of the range, and another counter starts on the other side.
