Lightbulb loose neutral what can it cause

can a loose neutral in the switch box cause appliances like computers ,televisions dryers to completely quit working or blow out

Yes. Lets say for example you have a loose neutral in a box that a 3-wire homerun comes into. If the neutral that is loose is the homerun neutral and the other leg is feeding the furnace (or any other motor load for that matter), it can back-feed all the way through the motor and feed the other circuit with 240 volts. Loose neutrals are electricians' worst nightmare.
