welder breaker

I need to install a circuit for a welder that's 220 VAC, 21 amp output. The plug on the welder has 2 vertical prongs (one longer than the other) and a round prong (ground, I assume) below them. I'm sure I can find the right receptacle but am not sure what amperage of breaker I need.
Any thoughts?

See if you can find the plug on thsi chart http://www.bryantelectric.thomasregi...c/sb_chart.htm
then match the recept, wire ampacity and breaker to the plug. This assumes that it is a factory original plug.
Otherwise, the code allows upsizing the breaker to 200% of the effective input current (Article 630).
