Hi,
I'm going to install an ARC FAULT Circuit Breaker for a bedroom I am building. My question is...does the same rule apply for any other circuit (ie. 12 outlets/lights on a circuit) or do I have to only use this for the bedroom outlets only? I have the Ontario Electrical Code Simplified book, but it doesn't say if I can use it for the other rooms as well (so I don't have to use one extra circuit breaker slot).
Thanks

I am fairly certain that the code does not prohibit the use of arc fault on any other room. The code book also does not require dedicated circuits for the bed rooms. Therefore I believe putting additional receptacles on the arcfault breakers is acceptable.
