Attic fan thermostat - kaput...

Hi,

I just found this site while surfing around for a replacement thermostat for an attic fan. I would appreciate any help anyone could lend!

The fan is roof-mounted, and was installed about 6 years ago (I'm guessing) - but never hooked up/wired. The motor works checking with a hot wire, but evidently the thermostat is not operational.

I'm looking at the metal cover plate I removed, and it says "Pace Setter Professional Standard Model PT6 By Leslie-Locke" - but when I do a search on Leslie-Locke Fans, 'Pace Setter' brand, etc. I get nowhere...

I imagine I'm not the only guy who has this problem.. ... But the local Home Depot (which is probably where the thing came from) and my local ACE has nothing for what I need.

If anyone could direct me to a supplier on-line, or provide a 'lead' that might point me in the right direction, it would be great!

Kind regards,
Jim

I believe Leslie-Locke was bought out by Certainteed (sp?) a few years ago. You might want to check with them.

Try MasterFlow. It appears they may be the new company name.
