I Need help installing a Ductless Range Hood
I just bought a ductless Range Hood from Home Depot.
However, I am a true novice when it comes to electrical wiring.
There is a ceiling light in my kitchen not to far from the stove.
Is there a way that I could wire the fan/hood to the ceiling light wiring??? or can I go to a light switch???
or can I convert the whole unit into a "plug in" Hood?
What would I need to do to get this installed by myself?

If you can describe in detail the wiring at the light switch and the light fixture then we can walk you through the process of running wire to and hooking up the fan. The more detailed your description is, the easier it will be for all involved. Let us know, the number of cabless, the color of wire in each cable , and how they are now connected. DO NOT DO THIS WITH tHE POWER ON!
