Refrigerator in Garage - Help with GFCI

I have installed an extra fridge in the garage of my new home (built 2002 - Orange County Florida).

Unfortunately I have all GFCI outlets there, and it keeps tripping them. Can I just run a regular simplex outlet right next to it, using 14-2 wire up the wall and back down? I assume I would run it to the LINE side of the existing GFCI, making it so it is not a GFCI outlet...The 2 outlets are on a 15 AMP circuit.

Let me know if I am on the right track and proivded enough info....

Thanks

The GFCI requirement for garages have two exceptions (NEC 210.8(A). Both permit a non-gfci for that refrig only if it is placed behind the refrig and the recept cannot be made readily accessible.

Thanks...that is what I was planning. But can I run a "LINE" from the GFCI outlet to the fridge to make it non-GFCI?

Anyone?

Thanks
