Ceiling Fan Manufacturer

Hi folks;
I am not sure if this is the proper forum for this question, but here goes. My mother has a ceiling fan in her apt. to which she nows wants to add the lights underneath. Here is the problem, she doesn't have the installation literature, cannot recall the brand name or the store in which it was bought or appox when ( she is pass 90), but us still wicked on crossword puzzles!
The one with the answers has recently passed away.It is a good fan and worth the effort.
I have visited the orange Box and used their Westinghouse add-on kits but they are not right. She would like the type that comes on some of the fans in which the lights are part of the bottom and not a distinct add-on.
I have located the numbers on the top of the fan and they are as follows; Model HF23R132 and the serial # starts with a HKF ( I am reading these with a mirror!) I have also tried asking at the HD but get a lot of strange looks and shrugs!
Can anyone tell me if this is a Hampton Brand or a Hunter. Hunters website is no help and their model number system, same with H.B. brand, has changed.
I believe it is a Hunter, but I would like to make sure and see what the cross-over number is to their new model # system.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello: Bob M

While crusing the forums I read your question. I moved the question here to the electrical forum.

Since the question pertains more towards adding lighting to an electrical device and connecting it, I am sure the question being in this forum will obtain the information your requesting.

You can contact Hunter fans at www.hunterfan.com. Give them the information and if it is one of theirs, then you're good to go. If it's NOT one of their's, then I don't know what to do.
